DRESS FIT & MEASURING

Size Guide

Finding the right size starts with a few simple measurements. Use this guide before ordering, then compare her measurements with the size chart shown on the dress you're considering.

Start With Her Measurements

Children's sizing can vary, so age alone isn't always the best way to choose a dress. Taking a few measurements first gives you a much better starting point.

01

Measure Her

Take her bust, waist, hips, height and hollow-to-floor measurements before choosing a size.

02

Open the Size Chart

Check the size chart on the product page for the dress you're considering.

03

Compare the Numbers

Choose the size that most closely matches her actual measurements rather than choosing by age alone.

Where Do I Find the Size Chart?

You'll find the size chart on each product page near the size selection area. Open it before choosing a size and compare the measurements with the numbers you took at home.

Because dress shapes and proportions can vary, always use the size information shown for the dress you're viewing.

A quick tip

Don't assume the same size will fit exactly the same across every dress. Check the chart again whenever you choose a different style.

Take a Few Simple Measurements

Have her stand naturally and use a soft measuring tape. Keep the tape level and comfortably close to the body without pulling it tight.

01 Bust

Measure around the fullest part of the bust, keeping the tape level across the back.

02 Waist

Measure around her natural waistline, usually the narrowest part of the torso.

03 Hips

With feet together, measure around the fullest part of the hips.

04 Hollow to Floor

Measure from the hollow at the base of the neck straight down to the floor without shoes.

05 Height

Measure barefoot from the top of her head straight down to the floor.

What If She's Between Two Sizes?

If her measurements fall between two sizes, don't choose based on age alone. Look at which measurements matter most for the shape of the dress and compare both sizes carefully.

Before deciding:

  • Compare her bust and waist with both sizes.
  • Consider the shape and fit of the dress you're ordering.
  • Check the product's size chart rather than relying on a size she normally wears.
