The dress itself is lovely, but definitely measure before you order. It's listed as ankle-length and it came up a bit longer than I expected on my daughter, so we had it hemmed. Now it fits perfectly.

We bought this for a December wedding and the velvet kept my daughter warm without looking heavy. The long sleeves and the deep color made her look so elegant, and the quality is really nice.

The skirt has so much volume it really does feel like a ball gown, and my daughter twirled around the living room for a solid hour. Just know it runs a little long on smaller girls, so check the measurements.

My daughter usually rolls her eyes at anything too fancy, but the shoulder ruffles won her over. It looks way dressier than the plain long-sleeve dresses we tried, and it photographed beautifully.

I was a little nervous the beading might look cheap, but it's actually gorgeous, just enough sparkle without being over the top. My daughter put it on and didn't want to take it off.
