Beautiful structure without feeling stiff

My daughter usually avoids satin because she thinks it feels too formal, but she loved this dress. The fabric held the pleats nicely and she could still sit, dance, and move comfortably. We steamed it lightly and it stayed smooth all evening.

The front is clean and classic, but the V-back makes the dress really pretty from every angle. The bow sits at the natural waist and did not droop. My twelve-year-old felt elegant without feeling like she was wearing an adult bridesmaid dress.
